Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Online Customer Service Representative to join our tourism services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent online support to customers looking for travel-related information, booking assistance, and resolving any inquiries or issues related to tourism products and services

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via email, live chat, and social media platforms
  • Assist customers with booking travel services such as hotels, tours, transportation, and vacation packages
  • Provide detailed information about tourist destinations, itineraries, and services offered by the company
  • Troubleshoot customer issues related to bookings, payments, cancellations, and modifications
  • Ensure that all customer interactions are resolved to the customer’s satisfaction in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, product development) to ensure up-to-date information on available services
  • Upsell and cross-sell tourism services and promotions when appropriate
  • Keep records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints
  • Stay informed about industry trends, including travel regulations and emerging destinations
  • Monitor and maintain customer satisfaction ratings, taking steps to improve service quality where needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field is a plus)
  • Proven experience in customer service, ideally in the tourism or travel industry
  • Proficiency with online communication tools such as email, live chat, and social media
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and efficiently
  • Knowledge of major travel booking systems or platforms is an advantage (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Chinese is a plus)
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, if necessary

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Consulting Specialist with a focus on tourism and cultural exchange programs. The ideal candidate will provide expert advice and support to clients looking to develop or participate in international tourism and cultural exchange initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of both tourism development and cultural immersion programs, as well as the ability to customize solutions to meet client needs

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert consultation to individuals, organizations, and institutions interested in tourism and cultural exchange programs
  • Design and develop tailored tourism and cultural exchange experiences, including itineraries, program structures, and partnership opportunities
  • Conduct in-depth research on international destinations, cultural trends, and best practices in tourism to provide up-to-date recommendations
  • Facilitate the establishment of partnerships with local and international organizations, governments, and educational institutions to enhance cultural exchange opportunities
  • Develop strategies for promoting and implementing cultural exchange programs, including international study programs, internships, and work placements
  • Advise on visa requirements, travel regulations, and necessary documentation for participants in cultural exchange programs
  • Conduct workshops, seminars, and presentations on cultural immersion and tourism trends for clients and partners
  • Collaborate with clients to assess their needs, goals, and budget, and recommend appropriate tourism or exchange solutions
  • Stay informed about tourism industry trends, including eco-tourism, sustainable travel, and cross-cultural engagement
  • Monitor and evaluate the success of tourism and cultural exchange programs, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement
  • Assist with marketing strategies for promoting tourism and cultural exchange programs, working closely with marketing teams and external partners

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Cultural Studies, International Relations, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
  • Proven experience in tourism consulting, cultural exchange programs, or related fields
  • In-depth knowledge of international tourism trends, cultural exchange models, and destination management
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex cultural and tourism concepts clearly
  • Familiarity with tourism regulations, visa processes, and global travel restrictions
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese is highly desirable
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
  • Willingness to travel for research, client meetings, and program development as needed
